Today, we delve into Attentive Automeasure platform to explore two new features, creating custom features and splitting optional features, and switching between imperial and metric systems for measurements. Let's begin. First, navigate to the settings tab and click on Takeoff. On the right side of the page, you'll find the option to switch between imperial and metric systems. Select your preferred system to save your changes. In addition, you can opt to receive takeoff completion emails for your entire team. This means you'll receive emails not just for your own completed properties takeoffs but for your entire team as well. Simply switch this button on. Now, let's move on to creating custom features. Click on custom feature and create a new feature. For instance, we'll create a feature called lake. This is a surface feature which is already selected. Next, select the takeoff report type in which you want this feature to be included. In this case, it's landscaping plus snow. You can also adjust the opacity of the feature. I will change the color of the feature to blue, considering it represents a lake.Adjusting theopacity of the feature will affect how it appears in the takeoff. Note that these custom features re only for annotation purposes. On the takeoff, ttentive will not measure these custom features. You can also select optional features the takeoff settings page or directly witin the measurement itself. Click on optional features. For example, if you want to split the lawn by mowing equipment size, click on split lawn by equipment, check the specifications, and click on save. Once you save, the optional feature of splitting the lawn by equipment size will be reflected in your takeoff. That concludes today's tutorial. Thank you.
⚖️ Going Global with Metric System
For our friends in Canada, Australia, and beyond, we understand that the Imperial system doesn't always cut it. That's why we're introducing the option to switch between Imperial and Metric Systems.
Now, you can choose to view your measurements in square meters or square feet.
📧 Email Notifications, Your Way
And for those who like to keep tabs on everything, our Email to All feature is a game-changer. Decide if you want to receive takeoff completion emails for your entire team's takeoffs or just yours.
✂️ Splitting Made Simple
We've also made it easier to Split Property Features. For instance, if you're looking to differentiate between "Private Sidewalk" and "Public Sidewalk" for more precise measurements and costings, we've got you covered.
This split feature ensures you can accurately measure and report on specific aspects of your property, keeping your takeoffs as detailed as possible.
🎨 Customize to Your Heart's Content
Have you ever needed to mark a feature that's not on the standard list? Say hello to our new Custom Features option in the Takeoff settings. Whether it's a "Pond Behind the House," "Alpine Grass," or any other unique landscaping elements you're tracking, you can now annotate these features directly to your desired takeoff report.
So, no need to worry about adding the feature to each takeoff.
What’s more–when you annotate a new feature or split a property feature, these changes are reflected in takeoffs for all your team members.
Note- These features are for users to annotate on the takeoff, and Attentive.ai won't measure them for you.
If you have any questions or need a bit more guidance on how to use these new features, our customer success team is here to help.
